Sandy stopped mid step and turned around. You do I thought I had totaly messed everything up. I thought you didn't like me that way at least you didn't act like it. My father always did say that I should think before I act I guess he was right" Sandy said nervously scraping the toe of her shoe over the sidewalk.

Carmen thought about what he was about to say next for awhile. "Well... I guess some people don't express they're likeness to others in the same way. Some want to say it right out, some want to move in little by little, and some just want it to just...happen... I'm not sure when I started liking you or how but it just...it just goes..." this was the most deep thing Carmen had said to anyone in his entire life.

Carmen looked at Sandy. "I guess..." he said glancing at Maya. "Could you come over to the park in a few days? We could train Trey, and then go over to my place or something...?" Carmen suggested a little embarressed yet again.

Sandy smiled "sure I'l go to the park bu are you sure your ready for me to go to YOUR "place' because if your not I don't mind just meeting at the park" sandy walked over to a bench next to the Zebra exhibit and sat down and petted Trey.

"Ok that's fine sory but I should get going I'll see you at the park" Sandy smiled and headed out of the zoo and to her car. She lifted try into the truck and got in. She glanced towards Carmen than headed home.

Maya had been silent while the humans spoke. She could feel the emotions stirring in the air so she kept close to Carmen's side the whole time. When it was finally time to leave she wagged her tail as Sandy and said goodbye to Trey. "I hope to see you again," she said kindly before she fallowed her master out of the zoo.
